Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy describes how cancellations and refunds work for Sanor (https://app.sanor.ai). It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel your Pro or Pro+ subscription at any time from Settings → Manage billing. Cancellation:

At the end of the period your account moves to the Free plan and unused subscription credits are forfeited. Top-up credits remain in your balance and continue to work.

2. Subscription refunds (14-day window)

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your firstPro or Pro+ subscription purchase, provided you have consumed less than 25% of that period’s credit allotment. To request a refund:

  1. Email support@sanor.app from the address on your account within 14 days of the charge.
  2. We process eligible refunds within 5 business days. Funds typically reach your card 3–10 business days after that, depending on your bank.

Subsequent renewals (month 2 onwards) and plan upgrades are not eligible for the guarantee.

3. Top-up packs

One-time credit top-ups are non-refundable once any of the purchased credits have been consumed. If no credits from a top-up have been used, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@sanor.app.

Top-up credits never expire while your account is active.

4. Annual plans

Annual subscriptions follow the same 14-day guarantee from the first purchase date. After 14 days, annual plans are not refundable for the unused portion of the year, but you can cancel auto-renewal at any time and continue using credits and features for the remaining term.

5. Failed debates

If a debate fails before producing any synthesised output (server error, upstream model outage, dropped connection during generation), the credits for that run are automatically refunded to your balance. You do not need to email us. Successful runs that you simply did not like are not eligible for a refund — please use lower-cost modes or different engines to iterate.

6. Disputed charges

If you see an unfamiliar charge on your statement, please email support@sanor.app before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We respond to refund requests within 2 business days and almost all disputes can be resolved without involving the card network.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us is a breach of our Terms of Service and will result in account termination. We provide complete transaction logs (purchase, IP, timestamp, credits granted, credits consumed) to card networks when defending disputes.

7. Account closure

Deleting your account from Settings → Danger zone is irreversible. Closing the account immediately ends any active subscription, deletes your chat history within 30 days, and forfeits any remaining credits (subscription and top-up). If you want to preserve credits, cancel auto-renewal but keep the account.

8. Tax

All refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record. Tax portions are refunded together with the principal where required by law in your jurisdiction.
